Our team of Investment and Insurance Advisors has access to multiple insurers and fund companies which enable them to design customized plans for our personal and business clients.
To better serve our clients, both current and future, we are adding to our team. We presently have an opening for a Wealth and Insurance Advisor.
Primary Responsibilities:
The Wealth Advisor will be a hands-on and sales-focused individual who exemplifies an entrepreneurial spirit in building a book of clients through networking, prospecting, referrals, and other targeted, strategic initiatives. Specific responsibilities include:
- Developing a book of business by developing new contacts and referral sources through targeted, strategic initiatives
- Cultivate and get to know clients, their investment and insurance needs, and their objectives in order to deliver appropriate investments and services
- Create comprehensive financial plans with multiple scenarios, using state of the art financial planning software and ensure that the plan created supports the achievement of the client’s stated goals and objectives
- Work collaboratively with the Marketing department to create a comprehensive annual business plan that outlines the types of activities you will be involved in and the support you will require
- Actively participate in the development and execution of the company’s Inbound Marketing Strategy
- Engage Key Centers of Influence to assist in the development of a Strategic Partner Network
What we’re looking for:
- 2+ years of Industry experience
- Proven success in sales and business development
- The commitment and relationship-building skills crucial to establishing long-term client relationships
- The ability to be highly driven, sales-oriented and self-managing
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- You enjoy the challenges of seeking out new clients through associations in the community and referrals from previously satisfied customers and key centers of influence
- A collaborative style that thrives in a team environment
- Demonstrates a high degree of personal accountability for results
- Someone with a strong desire to work on variable compensation structure (transition package available)
Key Accountabilities:
- Your role is to independently attract the financial assets of individuals, their families and business owners
- This role is directly responsible for the growth and success of Investment and Insurance sales at Reeves Financial Services
The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:
- LLQP and/or Mutual Fund Licence
- Financial Planning designation (preferred)
- Completion of a related University degree or College diploma is an asset
