President

Scott started Reeves Financial Services with one goal in mind: to make financial services better for the client. Today, he has successfully built an insurance agency of one to an elite staff of ten with a main office in Hamilton and branch offices in Toronto and Kitchener. A multi-year nominee of Best Financial Planner, Scott had the fun of taking CHML news listeners through the economic meltdown of 2008-09 before moving to Talk 820 to co-host The Forum. He is Chair of HIFY Hamilton, a member of the Hamilton Club, and a supporter of many local initiatives.

Manager, Marketing

Born in Hamilton and raised in Kitchener, Ryan returned to Hamilton in 2005 after being recruited by Scott. A self-taught graphic and website designer, Ryan brings more than ten years of experience to the team. He is a shameless Gleek. He maintains that shopping is a full-contact sport, and he thrills in the hunt for the best bargain. Ryan is an avid concert-goer, enjoys listening to music, cooking, drawing, and painting. He admires people's ability to express themselves through music and art, and he believes that creativity should be something we nurture and promote in the community.

Sales Representative

Living in Toronto for the past 13 years, Kingsley is proud to become a new member of the Hamilton labour force with RFS. Before joining RFS, Kingsley was a credit insurance agent with Coface Canada and, prior to that, he was a personal insurance broker with Polywell Financial Group. Both positions gave him valuable experience in servicing a range of people from households to corporations. Kingsley enjoys playing basketball, soccer, golf, and reading during his leisure time. He is a member of the Markham Board of Trade and the Association of Chinese Canadian Entrepreneurs. He is also a former radio program director with Waterloo's radio station FM100.3.

Manager, Business Development

Darren brings more than eighteen years of sales experience to the RFS team. He has worked with Flightexec, the National Bank, and Banking Services of Canada. At RFS, Darren builds relationships with individual and corporate clients. He enjoys helping clients achieve their strategic financial goals. Darren is also excited to lead the sales team, and he looks forward to collaborating on exciting new prospects. Darren holds a degree in Economics from York University. When not transforming the world of work, Darren spends his time keeping fit, enjoying hockey, and playing chess. He lives in Toronto with his wife Natalie and daughter Alexandra.

Chief Financial Officer

Doug was born mere blocks from the RFS head office at the old Grace Hospital. A founding member of the Toronto GLBT Chamber of Commerce, Doug is also the comptroller for the Junior League of Toronto and the MacGregor Equestrian Farms. He studied cost accounting in Hamilton in 1971 and trained at car dealerships in Binbrook. Doug has two daughters, two grandchildren, two sons-in-law, and a cantankerous Scottish Terrier. He lives in Toronto and is the CEO of Personal Accounting, established in 1991. Doug is proud to have worked with Scott since 2001, and he looks forward to many good years to come.

Sales Representative

Peggy looks forward to a bright and promising career with RFS. First with the life division of RBC Insurance in Mississauga, Peggy relocated to British Columbia to join Group Direct. She then worked in the finance department of the Vancouver Convention and Exhibition Centre. Hamilton is a special place for Peggy. She moved to the City to care for her late mother-in-law, who she remembers as a woman of great compassion. Peggy shares in that spirit by making bears for the McMaster Children's Hospital, and by sponsoring children through World Vision. She lives on the Mountain with her husband Steve, their daughter Catherine, and their two parakeets nicknamed Squeak and Squawk.

Manager, Operations & Processing

Pam has been a crucial support to the company for more than six years. Graduate of Law and Security from Mohawk College, Pam also holds an Honours degree in Criminology from Wilfrid Laurier. She enjoys bicycling and camping with her fiancé Mike, and she is excitedly learning photography and how to play the guitar. Since 2005, Pam has brought her skills and creativity to the service of the HIFY Society of Hamilton as the Secretary of the Board. A Simpsons loyalist, Pam's wit is a force to be reckoned with at the office.

Manager, Public Affairs

Born in Toronto and raised in Waterdown, Norman is proud to call Hamilton home. He studied Philosophy & Political Science at McMaster University and serves on the school's Board of Governors and Finance Committee. Norman co-hosts and produces The Forum: A Marketplace for Stories and Ideas on Talk 820. He also volunteers with the HIFY Society of Hamilton and the McMaster Marching Band. Norman is an avid musician, actor, advocate, and public speaker. He is impatient with social injustice and envisions a more peaceful future nurtured by education and innovation. Norman welcomes controversy and resents the status quo.

Zachary Mathias - 905-521-0909 ext. 222
Assistant to the President

Zach joins the RFS team with excitement. Born and raised in North Bay, Zach holds a degree in Criminology from Nipissing University. Now a resident of Burlington, Zach volunteers with the Mississauga Correctional Services office as a probation officer. He is also a sports enthusiast, and he plays recreational soccer with the Burlington Soccer League. He also attends sporting events throughout the GTA. Zach enjoys watching The Office, The Sopranos, Jeopardy, and Seinfeld, to name a few of his favourite shows. Sightseeing and travelling are other favourites, especially with his girlfriend Lauren, and the company of Tyson, their Jack Russell Terrier.

Coordinator, E-Business & Innovation

Andrew is a proud Hamiltonian, born and raised. Honours Graduate of E-Business at Mohawk College, Andrew boarded a 767 en route to Australia mere days after graduating in a quest for knowledge and self-discovery. He studied Business Management at Griffith University along the beautiful Gold Coast before returning to the Hammer. Why would an ambitious young man trade a picturesque slice of tropical paradise for a steel town? Because he believes that the true beauty of a community is its opportunity, of which this city is rich and abundant.

Fadi El Masry
Co-op Student

Fadi moved to Canada in 2003 with his family and has been in Hamilton since. Fadi is currently attending Carleton University, we wish him the best of luck with his studdies. He is majoring in International Business with a focus on Strategic Management and International Human Resources. Fadi is interested in public policy, soccer, traveling, and green technology. He also enjoys summer BBQs and following the stock market on his iPhone.
